Tea Worth Knowing

Leaf & Lot began while traveling through China and learning about tea where it is grown and produced. A longjing taste testing at a tea field in Hangzhou became a story to bring home.

The brand emerged from the desire to find out more about tea and understand what makes each one unique. We take the time to visit and understand the places where tea is grown so we can share the leaves with curious drinkers.

OUR APPROACH

Curiosity First

We travel to tea regions to meet the people who produce it and see the process for ourselves.

We taste teas side by side and ask questions so that we fully understand what makes the leaf.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Tea Is More Than the Cup

Tea carries traces of where it was grown and how it was made, but drinking it is an experience of its own.

The leaves and how they are brewed become a part of the culture associated with it.

That is why Leaf & Lot collects more than tea. Our journey will continue to expand into discovering the appropriate teaware to complement our teas.

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES

One Place at a Time

Lot 001 began in Hangzhou. Lot 002 continues in Anji.

There are more regions to visit and more teas to understand. The stories and tea practices that we collect along the way will be shared.

This is only the beginning.
